Play ball

So as today is the first day of Spring. Yesterday, brought us Brayden's first baseball game. Although he played last year, this is his first year of coach's pitch and like last year, he is on the Atlanta Braves. He was so handsome in his uniform, I couldn't help but take his picture.

There are three innings and all of the kids get 6 pitches, each inning. Brayden went 1 for 3 (a single, no contact, and then he was tagged out). Here he is right before his first bat...





And of course, I can't leave out a picture of Brayden's biggest fan!!! She had to wear Brayden's baseball hat from last year.



I don't know if they keep score but either way you might hear us yelling, "Go Braves"!!!!

Wishing everyone a Happy St. Patty's Day from two very mischievous little "Leprechauns". Hope everyone finds their pot of gold tomorrow.

 

Snowy days of March?????????

Who would have thought South Carolina would get between 5 and 6 inches of snow on the first of March? Not me but we did...it left us with 2 snow days. Wasn't it pretty?



All of that beautiful snow allowed Brayden to sled down the hill between our house and the Theos (thanks Theo clan for sharing the sled) and a nice size snowman.






As you can see the boys were proud of their snowman.

The best part of the snow was it was gone within 4 days - we were in the 60's by the weekend. I was glad to see the snow and enjoyed it while it was here, but was excited to see it melt...probably just like everyone else living in the Upstate.
